Format to be decided after sign-ups. So, who's up for a return to Lancashire?

(I'm off to Munich for a bit, during which visit I will try and sound as unEnglish as possible and then just apologise repeatedly, so sign-ups will run until Monday at least.)

As in the TS tournament, I'd like to have a tournament where everyone plays until the end. Something like a pseudo-Swiss tournament where similarly- ranked players end up on the same table might work.

Since we have 9 players at the moment (Zeb, we always need you) I'm considering three 3-player tables, with 3pts for a win, 2 for second and 1 for 3rd (0 for a loss by dropping out). After each round, players are sorted by points and then aggregate score, and top player at the end of (say) four rounds is the winner.

Relatively leisurely, no knock-outs: how does that all sound?
