Wow. So sorry. My experience is not quite that poor but I've had several games that were borked and the waste of time has been monumental. I just hope he carries through. I've seen too many empty promises. I'm still waiting for multiplayer for Alien Frontiers, for instance.

Unfortnately, the developer has pulled out from the iOS market. They are not renewing their subscription with Apple. Dead app.

Lack of landscape mode, sub-par AI, and no multiplayer is an absolute bust for me. In fact, lack of landscape on iPad kills (almost) any purchase for me.

this is the first busted Eclipse game with friends for me (gaming with strangers is an absolute no go).
the last 3 Eclipse games with friends were successfully completed.

but to hear that Lukasz mentioned a "completely new build from the ground up" totally thrills me!
at least some kind of new hope.
that would make my gaming year.
thx for reporting, riotgirl! i hope we will see again some time in the darkness of space.
and who knows it may be a better time for diplomatic relationship then ;)

like riotgirl i will not play again till a new edition release.

but what about Twilight Struggle? anybody?

for me game shows riotgirl's turn too.
a server error in the very last moment is very disappointing indeed.

No doubt about Spice's victory though. strong economy, advanced technology, monoliths. congrats!
who needs galactic center? who needs to win space battles?

but it was fun to blast away Spice's dreadnoughts. i should have acquired wormhole tech and should have pounced on Spice. but then riotgirl would have won.
and on the other hand Spice's invasion saved more of riotgirl's sectors from being conquered by my fleet.
it was an interesting game.
it's such a pity that the game had been abandoned one step short of being one of the best strategical games in the whole appstore. shame on Big Daddy Creations! promises were made but never kept.
After allowing myself to be cut off by Zeb, I thought that was it for me. Playing science turtle and then gearing up for surprise wormholes turned out to be quite entertaining though.

There are a lot of nice mechanisms and feedback loops it'd be interesting to play through. Hopefully we get a stable and reliable server build.

Yes indeed! Purchased, also ready for hapless newbie games.

yay! i think we should go the Brass route and jump into cold waters to learn by playing.
and no better motivation for learning a complicated game than playing an "introductory tourney".
so who is up for organizing? ;)

btw we need a follow-up Brass tourney too...

As JammaTal very well knows, I suck at Brass. I mean I *really* because I still have no clue about strategy. But...I'm in. Gotta learn at some point, right?
