Hey, I can't find any mechanism to "contact" you on this forum system, re: Pax Pamir. There is, of course, a place that says it is for contact purposes, but it also, of course, doesn't appear to work/do anything.
We should start up the "What Are You Reading" thread again, too. I mentioned in the old place that I was reading Graeber's Utopia of Rules. There is an excellent bit near the end about fantasy worlds and games, and it's all very reminiscent of Carse's Finite and Inifinite Games, if you're familiar with that one.
I've been thinking the same thing. Be really interested to see what people are churning through.
Also, not sure if the Tourney thread would be a good place to put it, but a gaming ID thread for newcomers and old souls to list their game/platform-specific gamer tags/IDs etc.
Anyway, my addition to the almanac: Martin Walsh's Battle of Long Tan documentary...

He got in contact with me after I shared it on Twitter a week or so ago and said a film version is being looked at, with the name DANGER CLOSE as its current title. Keen. Fifty years since it all went south in the rubber plantation.
