The lack of multiplayer in Paperback annoys me too.
That being said, I've probably played more games against the AI in this one than I've played in any of my other "board/card game apps" that I would normally play online.
For example, I've barely scratched the campaign in Castles of Mad King Ludwig, and I would kill (ok, maybe just maim) for them to add MP so I can finally feel like I have my money's worth.
But Paperback keeps drawing me in for some reason.
